French Lavender is a tidy, evergreen shrub that thrives in dry conditions and prefers arid, alkaline soils, needing no fertilizer and very little water once established. Purple blooms and gray leaves with serrated edges emit a fresh, clean scent. Full sun and minimal pruning in spring and after flowering will stimulate continued blooming. French lavender blooms from spring to frost and attracts bees, butterflies and birds throughout the blooming season.
