Gopher Plant is a hardy evergreen ground cover. It’s pretty blue-green foliage is topped in spring with chartreuse bracts and yellow flowers. This unique, spring-flowering perennial takes heat and cold in stride, and is one of the earliest blooming garden plants. After flowers complete their bloom cycle, trim branches back by half to encourage new growth. Gopher Plant is rabbit and gopher resistant. All euphorbias ooze a milky, irritating sap when cut, so wear gloves when trimming it. This striking groundcover prefers full sun and good drainage.
